Overview

The successful life of Mikhail, a Moscow lawyer, turns upside down in one day — a woman from the past, his first love, the daughter of a Gypsy baron Diana, appears in his life. She asks to get their daughter Yana out of prison, after which she promises to disappear forever from his life and keep his main secret. After all, Mikhail pretends to be another person. In fact, he is the gypsy Mihai Demeter, who 16 years ago was expelled from the camp and separated from his beloved. Mihai returns to the camp where he grew up in order to save his daughter, whose existence he did not know, and meet himself. Mihai will have to answer himself the question — who is he really, and where is his home — in the camp or in Moscow.

About Shakespeare Street

Shakespeare Street is a drama series that first aired in 2025. Created by Nina Belenitskaya, it stars Dmitry Chebotarev, Elizaveta Yuryeva, Igor Zolotovitsky.
